Hello,
Read your article on CIFS, which is the problem I’m having with my installation.
Can you tell me where the Alfresco Global properties are located (i.e. filename / file path)?
thanks
Hello Lawerence,
If you are using Alfresco 3.2+ then you may find the Alfresco Global properties under /shared/classes.

Hi…
I am using alfresco 3.3g and to enable CIFS server in Windows XP, I followed only the above 3 steps. Still I cant able to connect with alfresco Shared drive.
my system name is: say example1234 (count: 11)
I tried to access my shared drive by using: \\example1234\Alfresco
I have following questions while doing this:
(1)In my file-servers.properties file, do I need to have
cifs.serverName=${localname}A (or)
cifs.serverName=example1234A (that is my system name with A)
(2)cifs.domain=
Can I leave this domain name empty.
(3)Do I need to stop any existing running port 445 or do I need to work on file-server-custom.xml ?
